1^st Thurstaston Awards at District AGM 2010

 

As President’s Prize winners last year, it was our Group’s duty to be the flag party at this year’s District AGM.

 

When it came to the awards section of the AGM, we were surprised and very pleased when not only did our Beaver Colony receive the Reg Cooke Trophy, but also our Scout Troop was awarded the Dave Blackwood Trophy for Outdoor Activities. The latter includes a monetary prize for the Troop to spend on outdoor activities.

 

It’s a fantastic achievement for a Group to win two trophies and hopefully we will soon have some photos and news of how the Scout troop spend their prize
