Everyone has had a fab day today - Scouts have been at Manley Mere all day - the adventure trail in the morning and the inflatable water activity this afternoon - they are cooking their tea right now - Beavers and Cubs have been to Round Pond aadventure and had a fab day - climbing and problem solving in the morning and then raft building in the afternoon - then they walked the plank and jumped into the ponds - some very brave Beavers and Cubs all had a brill time

All is good at camp we are struggling with phone signal so not able to post much especially pictures - we will do this when we have better signal

Everyone has arrived safely including the pirates - see photo soon ! Scouts have got their tents up and the rain kept off - they are collecting wood for theirs fires to cook their own tea - sausage casserole - Beavers and Cubs have settled in their bunk rooms and familiaried themselves with the camp site - they are off for a short local hike and then tea - pasta meatballs and garlic bread - mmmmm - evening actvities are a big game of rounders and cricket followed by a beetle drive

Scouts set off this morning to set up their camp - cubs and Beavers this afternoon - 3 very full trailers 3 cars full of food - not sure we have space for the kids ! Joking ...... see you later

Summer camp 2017 is almost here - 8 Beavers 12 Cubs 13 Scouts and 13 Young Leaders accompanied by 15 adults will set off tomorrow - in the morning for the scouts and afternoon for cubs and beavers - we have a busy, fun and exciting programme for both camps - we are doing some things together and different activities at other times - it promises to be a fantastic week - let's hope for some decent weather !
